Visit by Group of Nurses from Wertheim

At the end of May, 16 student nurses and 2 teachers came to visit Huntingdon and Hinchingbrooke Hospital. Three highly stressful, but also highly informative and very interesting days, gave insight into the daily routine of English nurses and deepened the young student nurses’ knowledge of the NHS.

The group took part in a late and an early morning shift and could compare differences between German and English routines. But as you can imagine listening to English for 3 days from morning to evening is most stressful and tiring.

But a dinner at Spiceland, a short trip to Cambridge, shopping and experiencing nightlife in Huntingdon - as well as ending their stay in the UK with a sightseeing trip to London – added relaxing moments to their journey and made it certainly even more worthwhile their coming.
